Challange
The requirement of an AI native supply chain operating system.
The Indian Army in its 2025 problem compendium highlights that recent wars and pandemics have exposed how supply chain disruptions directly impact equipment availability and operational readiness. Given that defence equipment and spares rely on complex, multi-tier vendor networks, surge production during conflict is constrained by the weakest supplier in the chain. This makes it critical to map and monitor the entire supply chain to identify vulnerabilities and predict disruptions. Additionally, there is a growing need for real-time visibility into internal supply chain operations—especially for perishable and time-sensitive items—to ensure efficiency, reduce wastage, and maintain consistent readiness levels.
Solution
A reliable, secure, AI-native supply chain mapping system that gives real time visibilty and insights.
Inventory data from commands, depots, and warehouses is unified via APIs across legacy systems. LLMs analyse this aggregated data to identify supply chain risks, while dashboards surface real-time insights and alerts for decision-makers. Officers can query the system in natural language to get precise, actionable answers. In parallel, publicly available data and intelligence on vendors are continuously analysed to assess supplier risk, benchmark reliability, and proactively identify alternative suppliers before disruptions materialise. Built to be compliant by design, the system maintains a complete audit trail to ensure transparency and accountability.

impact
3 rounds of review, on-site demo, MOU drafted.
DGST (Lt Gen Rank) nominated HQ Central Command to partner with my startup- CrusadeAI, to refine the application for integration testing with MISO - Management of Information System Organisation. The application is nominated for whitelisting and roll out for the entire Indian Army.
